Key Knowledge Areas for Chartered Membership

Key Knowledge Areas for Chartered Membership

The CILT is undertaking a comprehensive review of the Key Knowledge Areas (KKAs) required for consideration to be awarded Chartered Membership of the Institute.

The Key Knowledge Areas are determined by the professional members of the Institute across the world. We would like your input into the draft KKAs before they are discussed at the CILT International Council meeting.

One of the changes suggested is to provide more opportunity for professional specialisation within the Key Knowledge Areas recognising the different KKAs needed for those working in Supply Chain, Passenger Transport, Freight Transport, Forwarding and Planning.

I have attached a copy of the draft 2010 Key Knowledge Areas document. You can also download a copy at http://www.ciltinternational.org/web/pages/news. Please add your own contributions and ideas.

If you are a member of an active Forum &/or Professional Group in the CILT we would also welcome contributions from your peers and colleagues.

Thank you for your assistance with this important consultation.
